Biography
Mary Barrett earned a BA degree from Michigan State University, a MS degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a MFA degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art. From 1963-1991 she served as professor of Art (specializing in printmaking) at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.
Barrett participated in numerous exhibitions throughout her career, including venues such as the Philadelphia Print Club, The Society of American Graphic Artists and the Suzanne Kohn Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. In addition, she has created commissions for recital halls and theatres at the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.
