David Arlen Grimsrud
Biography
David Arlen Grimsrud was born in Cumberland, Wisconsin, June 9,1940. The family later moved to Zumbrota, Minnesota where Dave worked in his father's newspaper/print shop during his high school years and summers while he earned a BA degree from St. Olaf College. He majored in art at St. Olaf ('62) and later received an MA ('70) in painting from Minnesota State University-Mankato and his MFA ('74) in graphic design at Indiana University-Bloomington. He went on to teach art at the high school level. He is now retired from teaching and currently paints at his home studio in Zumbrota, MN.Source of Biography
