Daniel Dickhut

Daniel Dickhut exhibited two works at the first Festival held from April 7 to April 14, 1957, at Luther College. Dickhut’s woodcut, "Machine Form," was shown and purchased for the Fine Arts Collection. His woodcut, "Crucifixion," was displayed at a later Festival exhibition, which was held in the showroom of the Dahly Chevrolet Company in Decorah from March 31 through April 7, 1962. This woodcut was not purchased for the Collection. Dickhut created the art works in conjunction with his position as artist/teacher at St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. Other works by Dickhut were part of the St. Norbert College Bush Art Center Exhibit, “50th Anniversary Art Faculty Exhibition” in 2006.
