BiographyAnn Otis is an artist who creates etchings, monotypes, and paintings. She uses metaphors and symbols that are reminiscent of dreams to tell a story. With color, texture, and humor the viewer is allowed to interact with these works according to their own experiences. Her work is both playful and serious and celebrates the wonder of life. Some of her awards included Best of Show at the Brio in Scottsdale, Arizona, first place in the Cave Creek Film and Fine Arts Festival, and the cover winner of the 2008 "Hidden in the Hills directory."
