Biography
Mary Augustine Hatch was born in 1896 in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 1929, she joined the Notre Dame Sisters in Milwaukee, WI. After earning BFA and MAE degrees, she taught elementary and high school students from 1928-1942. She taught at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, WI from 1942-1971. She was also a member of the Art Department at Notre Dame of the Lake (motherhouse) in Mequon, WI. She died in 1974 in Brookfield, WI.
